In 2024, Black Bear Roofing proudly received the ‘Best Roofing Company in Springfield, Ohio’ award, reflecting not just the work we do, but the trust and loyalty we’ve built within the community.

Cody, our owners, story:

“I graduated with a degree in logistics and finance many years ago. I went the corporate route and decided it wasn’t my end-all, be-all. I got into landscaping – I enjoyed my clients, but I knew that wasn’t my thing.”

In 2023, Cody and his team installed over 100 fences, mowed countless lawns, built high-end decks, and even managed snow plan routes. While these experiences were fulfilling, Cody knew he hadn’t found his passion yet.

From day one, Cody’s vision was to build a business centered on quality craftsmanship, customer care, and community connections. That focus paid off in a big way.
